چکیده
This study assessed the exposure of 199 Chinese population samples from Anhui Province, China, to deoxynivalenol (DON) based on their dietary intake and urinary biomarkers. is first compare between both procedures DON detection (diet human bio-monitoring approach) within same population. Food urine were collected healthy participants. The highest concentrations its derivatives detected in wheat-based products. Both metabolite, DOM-1, found samples. Total (free + conjugated) was 99% samples, with a mean concentration at 109.21 ng mL?1. estimated (EDI) level calculated food consumption contamination data obtained as 2.54 ± 1.63 ?g kg?1 bw d?1, while probable daily (PDI) biomarkers be 3.96 4.20 d?1. A significant correlation evidenced EDI PDI, exceeding provisional maximum tolerable intake. Elevated contaminant levels observed adolescent group compared children, adults, elders, thereby indicating potential health risk them. excretion rate adolescents approximately 2.5 times that adult participants, possibly indicative higher metabolic activity, which needs further in-depth investigation.

Assessment of Urinary Deoxynivalenol Biomarkers in UK Children and Adolescents
Deoxynivalenol (DON), the mycotoxin produced mainly by Fusarium graminearum and found in contaminated cereal-based foodstuff, has been consistently detected in body fluids in adults. Available data in children and adolescents are scarce. This study assessed urinary DON concentrations in children aged 3-9 years (n = 40) and adolescents aged 10-17 years (n = 39) in the UK. Morning urine samples w...
